Clyde Kerns and Harry's Big Bad Boomer won the West Virginia State Treeing Contest

Tri-State Houndsman Association located in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia held the West Virginia State Championship on March 4th. They had an outstanding turnout for this event! They had 17 dogs in the nite hunt; 12 in the Bench Show and 3 in the treeing contest. I had the pleasure of meeting Bobby Keebaugh, David and Steven Cain at the 2016 World Hunt. These are fine men and I greatly appreciate their support of the ACHA. Grand Champion Female and Queen of Show was Appalachian Blue Willow owned by Kenneth and Melissa Nash of Grantsville, Maryland. King of Show and State Champion was WBC Drop N Down on Ur Town Hank owned by Stephanie Wyer of Fairmont, WV. West Virginia State Treeing Contest Winner is Harry’s Big Bad Boomer owned by Clyde Kerns of Berkeley Springs, WV.  Bobby Keebaugh and his outstanding Black & Tan Poach Monkey were again in the winner’s circle with a score of 225+ points.
