A Successful World Event Recap
The 2023 ACH&BGA Little World Events are in the books!
Congratulations to all of the Hounds, Owners, & Handlers that won or placed in a event. We hope everyone will continue to support ACH&BGA in the future and look forward to seeing everyone again.
We would like to thank everyone who attended & participated this year. We had a good two days with no issues at all. Many thanks to the members & family of the Flint River CHA for hosting the event.
We would like to thank our early round qualifying host clubs:
Spring Creek CHA in Colquitt, Ga. – Southern West Virginia Coonhunters in Williamson, WV. – Milledgeville CHA in Milledgeville, Ga – Adkinson County CHA in Pearson, Ga. – Wilson County CHA in Watertown, Tn.
The meals were great and no one went hungry. All of the field events on Saturday were held on club property except for the water race which was only 2 blocks away.
We had participants from Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Kentucky, West Virginia, & Tennessee.
Thank you to American Cooner editor Terry Walker for the visit on Friday.
The Quarterfinals on Friday night produced only 4 plus point winners so we went straight to a Final Four for Saturday. The full moon played havoc on the qualifying rounds all week.
We had a great time on Saturday with the Field Events and then a Final 4 cast on Saturday night held at the Beaver Pond Plantation in nearby Butler, Ga.
Judges Bobby Bowen & Todd Sellars did a wonderful job with no questions and we thank them for their time.
Much appreciation to Simon’s Hound Supply – Bruce & Cindy Simons for coming to offer Supplies to all of the attendees.
